We had to mess around with kids and luggage to get to another terminal to catch a bus and then pay over €40, once we got to salou we then had to find the hotel and as you can imagine the stress has really impacted on the holiday. I got on the phone to teletext uk and was on hold 20 minutes with no answer so I decided to take action myself as I was furious with a 4year old and 9 month old !!! We went to tourist information who told us to go to a local bus that runs to salou. When we told the reps our names we found out it had been cancelled. On the 30th of may 2015 we flew from Manchester to Barcelona and when we landed we made our way to our transfer. Meanwhile I am off to mallorca with jet2 the company I usually book with, they may be a pretty standard,no frills, boring, same old same old but at least you can get through to them when you ring up and if you do have a problem( and let's face it problems are a fact of life) they will start it out, quickly, and the price you see is what you get. I hope teletext holidays close down and do I feel sorry for all people that will be out of work, well, maybe some of them, but definatley not the one that rang my 2 weeks ago pretending to care about my experience, eventually people will stop booking with them, but for now I think every one who has or had a complaint against them should e mail watchdog I am sure there are enough of us for them to look into the company and make others aware of how they treat their customers. QUOTE they always try to provide the best possible service, their clients are of paramount importance,THEY TAKE PRIDE IN THERE HIGH STANDARDS and IF I consider the service received by there staff prior to my holiday was unsatisfactory they apologise IF can you believe that. After weeks of stress and anger about my holiday booking I finally got the letter they told me they would sent regarding the reply to all my posts and telephone conversations I must stress here that no way was I wanting any money or vouchers or anything from them as compensation, but I would have liked a genuine appology, nit so, the letter appeared to be pretty standard it was nothing but a string of excuses, it says things like.
